Content Management System (CMS) refer to items such as JavaScript and image files. These are what ensures the front-end design of the website not only looks good but also works well! At Ziqni these assets are saved in the CMS repository of the users' spaces.
Searching and editing already created files can be completed in a few simple steps.
- From the dashboard page, scroll to CMS and click.
This will load the search/ create page. From here the following actions can be performed.
- If there is data that can be searched for, the screen below will appear. Search for a CMS that has been created and saved previously. CMS can be searched by using keywords and phrases.
This page also allows you to filter the fields being displayed, and view or edit the data that has been entered.
- Click on the funnel icon. This allows the data to be searched using only the specific fields that are chosen.
To filter data using a specific heading the cog icon is used.
- Click on the cog icon to filter the data that is being displayed.
- Uncheck the boxes the user does not want to display data.
All previously created data can be viewed, edited, and deleted.
- Under the Action heading for each set of data entered, there is an ellipse.
- Click on the ellipse and the Action menu will appear.
- View, edit or delete the data that has been checked.
- Click edit, the update page for the repository will now load.
- Edits can only be made in fields with a white background
- Once all edits have been made, click on update and the changes will be saved.
Files in the repository can be viewed, edited, downloaded, or deleted.
- From the search/ create page, check the repository the user wants to work in.
- Click on the 3 ellipses on the right-hand side.
- Click view in the pop-up menu.
- The page below will load.
This page allows the user to carry out a number of activities. Files can be searched using the funnel icon and dipslayed data can be changed uisng the cog icon. Users can create new folders and uploads files. With already created files, the following can be competed;
- Check the file/ image that requires action.
- Click on the 3 ellipses, and the pop-up menu will appear, listing the actions that can be applied.
- Choose the required action.
