A Tag is a way of grouping items/ data together making it easier to reference later. To create a tag all mandatory information is marked with a * and must be completed. Once completed this information cannot be edited and would need to be deleted and recreated.

Tags can be completed in a few simple steps.
- From the dashboard page, scroll to Settings and click.
- Using the left-hand side menu, click on Tags.
This will load the search/ create page. From here the following actions can be performed.
- If there is data that can be searched for, the screen below will appear. Search for a tag that has been created and saved previously. Tags can be searched by using keywords and phrases.
This page also allows the user to filter the fields being displayed, and view or edit the data that has been entered.
- Click on the funnel icon. This allows the data to be searched using only the specific fields that are chosen.
To filter data using a specific heading the cog icon is used.
- Click on the cog icon to filter the data that is being displayed.
- Uncheck the boxes to filter the data that is being displayed.
All previously created data can be viewed and deleted. All information except the key can be edited.
- There is an ellipsis under the Action heading for each set of data entered.
- Click on the ellipsis and the Action menu will appear.
- View, edit or delete the data that has been checked
If no data has previously been entered, the page below will load.
- Click on Action and the Create page will load.
- Name the Tag.
- Create a key for the tag. This is a mandatory field and once created, it cannot be edited. The key is restricted to 100 characters, however NO SPACES can be used in the key. This is also referred to as a unique identifier key.
- Describe the tag - this is for reference only and is an optional field.
- Select from the drop-down menu the entities that tags will be applied to.
- Extend the information regarding the tags using the Metadata fields. Metadata is a way to describe the tag using a key and value pair.
- Click on create once all information is entered.
- A preview page will load to summarise the information that has been entered.
- From this page, the information can be edited or deleted using the Action button.
